    • Surftest SJ-210 Portable Surface Roughness Tester

      A Mitutoyo portable surface roughness tester able to operate independently of mains power and make measurements on almost any part of a workpiece of practically any size. The 2.4-inch colour graphic back-lit LCD provides excellent readability and an intuitive display that is easy to use. Operation is by keys on the front of the unit and under the sliding cover. Up to 10 measurement conditions and one measured profile can be stored in the internal memory. An optional memory card can be used as an extended memory to store large quantities of measured surface profiles and setup conditions. Access to each feature can be protected to prevent unintended operation. An alarm warns when the stylus should be checked for wear. Complies with the applicable international standards concerning definition and calculation of the values of surface roughness parameters. In addition to calculation results, sectional calculation results and assessed profiles, bearing curves, and amplitude distribution curves can be displayed.

      Surftest SJ-411 / SJ-412 Portable Surface Roughness Testers

      High precision, portable Mitutoyo surface roughness testers with a dedicated control unit equipped with analysis functionality rivalling that of benchtop surface roughness testers, complying with the latest international standards applying to surface roughness measurement. The color-graphic LCD has excellent visibility for displaying calculated results and assessed profiles. This is useful for checking results without printing them out. A backlight improves usability in dimly lit environments. The built-in high quality, high-speed thermal printer provides hardcopy of measurement results when required including BAC and ADC curves in landscape format, just as they appear on the screen. The choice of models provides a measurement range of 25mm or 50mm. Password protection for setups is available for preventing accidental changes to settings. A manual adjustment knob enables fine positioning of a small stylus for positioning, which is useful when testing the inside surface of small holes. The instrument can be used stand-alone or mounted on a user-supplied stand. Many optional accessories are available to extend the application range.

      Surftest SV-M3000-CNC Ultra-high Precision Large Range Surface Roughness Tester

      A Mitutoyo top-performance CNC surface roughness tester that handles measurement of large/heavy workpieces, such as engine blocks and crankshafts, using a moving column configuration to largely eliminate workpiece size restrictions. Combined with the swivelling detector unit, continuous measurement over the bottom, top and side surfaces of a workpiece is possible. The 800mm Y-axis stroke makes measurement of multiple surfaces on large workpieces possible.       A Mitutoyo form-measuring machine that features excellent operability and functionality enabling quick, simple and accurate measurement. The operating keypad is on the drive unit for fast setup to suit high volume, repetitive measurement processes. Operations used in every measurement cycle, such as stylus position change and measurement start/stop, are easily accessible to reduce operator workload and increase measurement efficiency. A rapid-adjustment stand allows the operator to quickly and easily move the drive unit between measuring heights, and is equipped with reference stops for quick and repeatable repositioning to ensure efficient measurement flow. An X-axis jog-shuttle enables variable horizontal-drive speed, allowing fast and easy positioning for measurement. The wide range detector (Z1 axis) is equipped with a highly accurate digital arc scale that directly tracks the position of the stylus tip so that precise compensation can be applied to the scale output to provide best accuracy and resolution.       Formtracer Extreme CS-3200

      A Mitutoyo high-accuracy CNC surface roughness/form measuring instrument that allows measurement of surface roughness and form/contour with one unit, and with only one detector. The drive unit (X axis) and column (Z-2 axis) are equipped with high-accuracy linear scales (ABS type) enabling fully automatic measurement combining vertical and horizontal movement. This improves reproducibility of continuous automatic measurement of small holes in the vertical direction and repeated measurement of parts which are difficult to position. The drive unit (X-axis) tilting function supports measurements on inclined planes and for heavy workpieces that are not easily moved.

      This Mitutoyo Roundtest is a sophisticated, highly accurate form-measuring system capable of assessing the attributes of roundform workpieces such as roundness, straightness, flatness, concentricity, coaxiality, perpendicularity, runout, and surface finish. A feature is the linear scale incorporated into the X-axis, enabling measurement while tracking the workpiece surface. This capability is effective for measuring a diameter difference involving a displacement that exceeds the detection range of the probe, or a taper that can only be measured with a slider/column movement. Semi-automatic centering and levelling of the workpiece on the air-bearing-equipped turntable via the AAT system helps ensure easy setup. Powerful ROUNDPAK analysis software completes the package.

    • Cross-travel table (XY range: 100 x 50mm)

      A Mitutoyo T-slotted XY table featuring graduated handwheel adjustment in both axes. Useful for mounting workpieces that require fine positioning in the XY plane. Equipped with a special vee-groove for mounting accessories such as the rotary vice (218-003).





      Chuck

      A Mitutoyo key-operated three-jaw, self-centering chuck suitable for holding longer workpieces and those requiring a relatively powerful clamp. Supplied with internal and external jaws. Mounts directly on the table of the machine.





      Y-Axis Table

      A Mitutoyo motor-driven Y-axis table suitable for mounting workpieces or fixtures. Mounts directly on the base of the machine and enables efficient, automatic measurement of multiple, aligned workpieces or multiple points on a single measurement surface. Allows semi-automatic measurement with a manually operated machine.




      θ1-axis Rotary Table

      A Mitutoyo motor-driven rotary table (q1 axis) suitable for mounting workpieces or fixtures. Mounts directly on the base of the machine to enable efficient alignment of single or multiple workpieces preparatory to measurement. Especially useful with cylindrical workpieces for aligning the axis with the direction of measurement. Automatic alignment can be performed in combination with the Y-axis table (178-097).



      θ2-axis Rotary Head

      A Mitutoyo motor-driven rotary head (θ2 axis) suitable for mounting workpieces or fixtures. Mounts directly on the base of the machine to enable measurement of multiple points on a cylindrical workpiece or automation of front/rear-side measurement.





      Quick Chuck

      A Mitutoyo three jaw, self-centering chuck suitable for clamping workpieces that only require to be lightly clamped. The hand-operated knurled ring gives a quick and easy clamping action. Mounts directly on the table of the machine.
